A client of AlphaStaffHCM™ is searching for a Financial Analyst who can prepare and maintain budget and forecast models, prepare financial reports, presentations and analyses, and assist with proposal pricing. Incumbent MUST sit in Tyson's Corner, VA, with occasional travel to Hoboken, NJ. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, turning visions into forecasts, and can balance multiple ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather internal firm financial data;
• Assist in budgeting processes, variance analysis, and strategic planning 
• Analyze data in light of firm objectives;
• Use financial modeling techniques;
• Create recommendations for future action;
• Assess progress on financial benchmarks.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting, finance or economics;
• Proficiency in financial modeling methods;
• Familiarity with Excel and spreadsheet and modeling tools
• Data-oriented approach to analysis;
• Communication skills, including oral presentation.

Compensation and Perks

• Salary range: $70,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience.
